(a) &(b):- Yes. As per the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs exchanges Government Sponsored Goodwill Delegations of Members of Parliament with a view to effectively project our policies and achievements in different fields with The Indian Goodwill Delegation of Parliamentarians led by Shri S.S. Ahluwalia, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare consisting of 10 Members of Parliament of both the Houses(Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) visited Sweden, Norway and Israel during 29th May, 2017 to 6th June, 2017. Details of Members of Parliament who accompanied the delegation are as under:-

The delegation was able to create a very positive impact in the host countries. There was free and useful exchange of views, ideas with Parliamentary and Governmental authorities in these countries, and commitment to work together for mutual benefit and for a better world was developed. The delegation also met representatives of Indian people living in these countries – to enquire about their welfare. Overall, the visit was successful in strengthening friendly relations between these countries and India.
