Question : Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana

(a) the details of the criteria fixed by the Government for allocation of funds to various States under the different agriculture related schemes including Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (National Agriculture Development Scheme) and National Food Security Mission;

(b) whether the Government proposes to formulate new parameters or amend the current criteria for allocation of funds under the aforesaid schemes;

(c) if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government has received proposals from various States for allocation of additional financial assistance under the above said schemes; and

(e) if so, the details thereof along with the action taken by the Government thereon?

(a) to (c): The criteria for allocation of funds to various States under the different agriculture related schemes implemented by the Government of India, including Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (National Agriculture Development Scheme) and National Food Security Mission, are given at Annexure-I. Government does not propose to formulate new parameters or amend the existing criteria for allocation of funds under any of these schemes as of now.
(d) & (e): On the basis of requests received from State Governments and on considering their performance and capacity to implement projects under various agriculture schemes, additional funds over and above the allocation has been provided to some of the States from the funds available under these schemes during the financial year 2018-19 for implementation of projects under the respective schemes. The details of such additional allocation/ release made to States under some agriculture schemes during 2018-19 are given at Annexure-II.
