Question : Increase in Speed of Trains

(a) whether the Railways has proposed to increase the speed of trains upto 200 km per hour on the Delhi-Chandigarh section;
(b) if so, whether the Government is also considering to include Delhi-Visakhapatnam, Delhi-Chennai and Delhi-Hyderabad routes for increase of speed upto 200 km per hour; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?
