(a) the names of the industrial units operating in collaboration with the Government in Madhya
Pradesh;
(b) the names of the units which have been closed down or have not even started functioning
after obtaining the grants; and
(c) the details of the action taken/proposed to be taken by the Union Government against such
units?

(a): The record relating to industrial units operating in collaboration with the Government
of Madhya Pradesh is not centrally maintained. However, during January 2003 to February 2008,
764 Industrial Investment Intentions, in terms of Industrial Entrepreneur Memoranda filed,
Letters of Intent/Direct Industrial Licences issued, have been recorded for the State of Madhya
Pradesh with a proposed investment of Rs. 65,601 crore.
(b): As per the information provided by the Labour Bureau, Shimla, the State of Madhya Pradesh
has not reported any case of permanent closure of industrial units since 2003 to 2007.
(c): In view of (b) above, the question does not arise.
