(a): Yes, Sir. The Andaman and Nicobar Administration has posed a proposal for construction of fish landing centre at Junglighat (Dairy Farm), Port Blair and sought Central assistance under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
(b): The proposal envisages construction of a RCC Jetty, Reclamation, Auction hall, Administration office, Traffic areas and surfacing, Boulder bund, Cement Concrete Sloping Ramp, Water supply and other ancillary facilities. On examination of the proposal by the Union Government the UT administration has been requested to confirm receipt of environmental clearance from competent authority for implementation of the project.
