(a) whether there is any proposal for e-linking of the Krishi
Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) to address the problems of the farmers;
(b) if so, the number of the KVKs linked with e-linkage facility
in the country so far, State-wise;
(c) whether the work under the said system is not being performed
as per the requirement and as a result the farmers are deprived of the facilities; and
(d) if so, the remedial steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) Yes, Madam.
(b) At present, 192 KVKs and 8 Zonal Project Directorates (ZPDs) are
having e-linkage facility.The details are given in Annexure.
(c) Apart from some teething problems, and problems of irregular power
supply, the system is more or less working satisfactorily and improving.
(d) The system is stabilizing. Problem of power supply can be overcome
with UPS/Generators.
