Question : UPGRADATION OF RAILWAY HOSPTIAL

(a) whether the Railways propose to upgrade the Central Railway Hospital in East Coast Railway to a Medical College; and

(b) if so, details alongwith the status thereof?

(a) Yes, Madam.

(b) The Medical College is planned to be constructed and operated by the Private Partner with the existing Railway Hospital on Railway land, in PPP mode. The process for this has been initiated.
