(a) Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Ltd (BHAVINI), a CPSE under Department of Atomic Energy is constructing 500 MWe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) at Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu. Integrated Commissioning of PFBR is currently under progress.

(c) PFBR is expected to become operational by October 2022.
