Question : Akashvani Kendras

(a) the details of total number of Akashvani Kendras currently operational under Prasar Bharati across the country, State/UT-wise including the State of Chhattisgarh;
(b) the details of the number of the said centres which have become paperless and have adopted the ‘e-office’ system;
(c) whether the employees at the said centres have adapted themselves to the ‘e-office’ system for the operation of the said centres;
(d) whether any efforts are being made to make the remaining centres paperless;
(e) if so, the details and the time by which the said centres are proposed to be made paperless, State/UT-wise including the State of Chhattisgarh; and
(f) the total number of Akashvani Kendras currently operational and also the number of non-operational centres in the State of Chhattisgarh?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (f) OF LOK SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. *330 FOR ANSWER ON 21.12.2021.
(a) AIR has 500 Akashvani broadcasting centres currently operational across the country. State/UT-wise numbers are given at Annexure.
(b) to (e) Offices of Prasar Bharati across the country are using different modules of e-office for paperless operation including offices in All India Radio.
Employee centric modules such as eLeave, eTour are used by the employees across the network. The e-file module, which is mainly used for processing administrative and other matters in various offices, has been adopted by most of the offices for paperless working.
The usage of e-file module by different offices in All India Radio is regularly being monitored. Online training sessions are conducted regularly to increase its effective usage by all the concerned staff in the country including the state of Chhattisgarh.
(f) There are 13 AIR broadcasting centres operational in the State of Chhattisgarh and all are using e-Office.
