(a) whether the Government is aware of the ban on vehicles using diesel fuel in the country;

(a): No, Madam.
However, the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of M.C.Mehta vs. UOI & Ors has ordered for ban on registration of diesel vehicles with capacity more than 2000 cc on 16th December 2016 in the NCR of Delhi till 31st March 2016, which was subsequently extended till 30th April 2016. The ban has further been extended till the hearing of matter.
(b): No, Madam.
(c): Does not arise in view of (b) above.
