Question : Opening of Ayurvedic College

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has any plans to open Ayurvedic College in Tamil Nadu, particularly in Cuddalore district;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the funds allocated for the same; and

(c) the time limit fixed by the Government to opening of Ayurvedic College of Cuddalore?

(a) to (c): The Govt. of India does not have any plan to open Ayurvedic College in Tamil Nadu, particularly in Cuddalore District. It comes under the purview of the State Government / Individuals to open colleges.
