(a) the status of defence corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and the purpose of these defence corridors and the manner in which they help in achieving India’s goal of self-reliance in defence;
(b) the number of projects completed and the details of production units set up in these corridors so far;
(c) the incentives given to private players and foreign companies for establishing defence production units in these corridors;
(d) whether the Ministry is planning to make more defence corridors including one in Delhi and if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the benefits likely to accrue to defence sector as a result of these defence corridors and the employment opportunities expected to be generated therein?
