(a): Under the Rajrajeshwari Mahila Kalyan Bima Yojna, women in the age group of 10 to 75 years are provided insurance coverage not only for disablement but also for the death of their husband. The policy provides a cover of Rs.25,000/- for permanent total disablement of the insured woman and a cover of Rs.25,000/- for the death of her husband for an annual premium of Rs.15/-. For the death of an unmarried woman, the policy provides a cover of Rs.25,000/- which is payable to her nominee/legal heir. The scheme is implemented by the public sector general insurance companies.
