(a) whether the international terrorist organization Al Qaeda has allegedly appealed to the people throughout the world in a video tape to help the Muslims
who have been victims of the earthquake that hit Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on October 8, 2005;
(b) if so, whether the Government has identified the persons or organisations coming forward to send
relief materials from India; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) Government have seen unconfirmed reports regarding such an appeal issued by Al Qaeda.
(b) In order to show solidarity with the people of the earthquake affected areas in Pakistan Occupied
Kashmir and in Pakistan, a number of private agencies have sent relief material from India with Government approval.
