(a) whether the Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) proposes to set up additional production units in the country including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana;
(b) if so, the details thereof including the locations identified for the purpose, State/UT-wise; and
(c) the time by which these units are likely to become operational?

(a) to (c): Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has acquired 590 acres and 22.5 guntas of land at a cost of Rs. 54.30 crore at Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana State and 553.85 acres of land at a cost of Rs. 39.22 crore at Nandgaonpeth (Amravati), Maharashtra State to set up production units in these two states. No other additional production units of BDL has been planned.
No time lines have been fixed for operationalisation of the units at Ibrahimpatnam and Nandgaonpeth in absence of firm orders from Armed Forces for production from such units.
