(a) Whether the Railways have any proposal to start Multi-Model
Transport System like the Kolkata Airport-railway link in all Metros;
(b) If so, details thereof alongwith the target set for implementing the same, and
(c) The funds earmarked for the said purpose?

(a) No, Sir. Multi-Modal Transport System basically relates to urban transport.
The subject of urban transport is dealt with by the Ministry of Urban Development
and respective State Governments. The Ministry of Railways has extended its
Circular Railway System from Dum Dum Cantt. to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
Airport at Kolkata, recently. Ministry of Railways have no such proposal in any
of the other cities.
