(a) the number of Aakashvani Kendras and private radio stations operational in the country, State-wise;
(b) whether there is any proposal to set up new Aakashvani Kendras and private radio stations in the country and if so, the details thereof, State-wise; and
(c) the total revenue earned from commercial advertisements during each of the last three years?

(a) Prasar Bharati has informed that as far as Akashvani kendras are concerned, as on date 420 AIR broadcasting stations are operational in the country including 100 Watt FM Relay Stations. State-wise details of these stations are given in Annexure-I.
As regards Private radio stations, at present, 290 Private FM radio stations are operational in the country. State-wise list of stations is given in Annexure-II.
(b) State-wise details of AIR stations are given in Annexure-III and state-wise details of private FM radio channels under Phase-III are given in Annexure-IV.
(c) The total revenue earned by All India Radio from commercial advertisements during each of the last three years are as under:
