(a) the details along with the names of MPs whose suggestions were received during the last two years in Traffic/ Commercial Department on the issue of catering stalls, book stalls, fruit/fruit juice stalls, curio/miscellaneous article stalls and PCO/STD booths; and
(b) the action taken by the Railways thereon?

(a) & (b): Hon’ble Members of Parliament and other dignitaries give suggestions regularly to this Ministry regarding the problems faced by the rail users and upgradation of services related to catering stalls, book stalls, fruit/fruit juice stalls, curio/miscellaneous article stalls and PCO/STD booths. These representations/suggestions are given priority and are replied promptly by the appropriate level authority after taking corrective action, if any, in accordance with the extant policies to improve the services over Indian Railways. Suggestions received from Hon’ble Members of Parliament and other dignitaries are duly considered while framing policies by Ministry of Railways.
