(a) to (d): GAIL (India) Ltd. floated a tender for line pipes for Dahej-Vijaipur pipeline (DVPL)
Phase II Project for purchase of 3 Items of steel pipes with different specifications, viz., Item
No. 1, 2 & 3. Purchase order for Item No. 1 has been placed on M/s Jindal Saw Ltd. on L1 basis as
the price was found reasonable. However, the tender pertaining to Items No. 2 & No. 3 of this
tender was discharged/cancelled, since the prices quoted by the L1 bidder for these items were
not found by GAIL to be reasonable.
