Question : Kisan Sampada Yojana

(a) the details of the sanctioned projects and its financial outlay under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY);

(b) the details of the data on the number of Mega and Mini Food Parks, Cold Chain Storage Systems and Food Testing Laboratories set up under PMKSY in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh since the inception of the yojana, district-wise;

(c) whether there has been an increase in the conservation and processing capacity of agricultural produce due to the projects launched under PMKSY in 2021-22;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the number of direct and indirect jobs generated due to the projects undertaken thereunder in the above said States during 2021-22?

(a): Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY) was approved on 03.05.2017 with total outlay of Rs 6000 Crore and has recently been approved to be continued till 2025-26 with an outlay of Rs 4600 Crore. A total of 1088 projects have been approved since the inception of the component schemes of PMKSY.

(b): The details are placed at Annexure-I.

(c) & (d): The projects operationalized across the country during 2021-22 under component schemes of PMKSY have resulted in creation of 50.5 Lakh Metric Ton/Annum processing and preservation capacity.

(e): The estimated direct/indirect employment from the operationalized projects during 2021-22 in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh is placed at Annexure – II.
