(a) whether the Government has issued any instructions in regard to mixing fruit juice in cold drinks being sold across the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether instructions have also been issued to purchase the above fruit juice on fair prices from the farmers;
(d) if so, the details of guidelines in this regard; and
(e) if not, the time by which the Government is likely to take a decision in this regard?

(a)&(b): No, Madam. However, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has prescribed standards in the Food Safety & Standards (Food Products Standards & Food Additives) Regulations, 2011 for mixing of fruit juices in aerated drinks as per regulation 2.3.30(Carbonated Fruit Beverages or Fruit Drinks) and 2.10.6 (carbonated water).
