(a): The Prime Minister of India and the President of United States of America have signed a statement outlining their vision for Indo-US relation for the 21st Century. The vision statement inter alia, recognizes that the two Nations are leaders in the information age and are in the forefront of new high technology economy . Further, the United States has applauded India`s success in opening its economy, its achievements in science and technology and its commitment to a new wave of economic expansion and reform.
