Question : AMRAVATI-MUMBAI EXPRESS TRAIN

(a) whether the Railways have received any request to add two additional sleepers, two general and one AC-III tier coaches in the Amravati-Mumbai Express train from the Bhusawal Station;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) if not, whether the Railways propose to introduce an independent Bhusawal-Mumbai Express train; and

(d) the details thereof?

(a) & (b) Yes, Madam. The request was examined, but attaching of additional coaches was not found operationally feasible at present.

(c) & (d) There is no such proposal at present.
