(a) and (b): As per information made available by Indian Bureau of Mines (a Subordinate office of Ministry of Mines), 109 mines are Non -Working mines out of 159 in the State of Jharkhand as on 01.04.2017. These mines are non working due to want of statutory clearances. Mineral-wise details of non working mines in the State of Jharkhand are as under:
