(a) whether the Environmental Pollution Authority has called for strict measures to reduce air pollution in Delhi and scrapped the Indraprastha Power Station;
(b) if so, whether the Union Government have since taken any decision in this regard; and

(a) Yes, Sir.
(b)&(c)The Government has accorded environmental clearance to the proposed Pragati Power Plant of the Delhi Vidyut Board subject to the condition that the existing Indraprastha Thermal Power Station will be decommissioned within six months of the commissioning of the new plant.
