(a) whether the Government proposes to direct all manufacturing companies of the country to fix the MRP of the products including GST;
(b) if so, the time by which such guidelines are likely to be issued along with its outline; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c) : Under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 certain mandatory declarations like name and address of the manufacturer/packer/importer, name of the commodity, net quantity, month and year of manufacturing, retail sale price and consumer care details etc. are required to be made.
As per the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, manufacturers/ packers are already required to declare the MRP of the products inclusive of all taxes (GST).
