(a) whether the Government proposes to provide extra/additional funds for
completion of the power projects;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the time by which it is likely to be released; and
(d) the total megawatts of power likely to be generated?

(a) to (c) : For ongoing generation projects in the Central Sector, an outlay of
Rs.19,071.14 Crores for the year 2006-07 has been provided, out of which Rs.1,596.44
crore is the budgetary support from the Government.
(d) : 32 Projects with a generating capacity of 22263 MW are under execution
under the Central Sector.
