(a) to (c) A proposal to upgrade the Kalawati Saran Children Hospital attached to Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi as a National Institute of Paediatric has been included in the 10th Plan proposal of the hospital. The Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi has also informed that a 200 bedded super specialist paediatrics hospital is proposed to be set up at Geeta Colony in Delhi. The construction of the hospital is under progress and the OPD block is expected to be completed by September 2003.
