Question : PENDING PROPOSALS UNDER CRF

(a) the number of proposals received from various State Governments under the Central Road Fund during each of the last three years and the current year, State-wise;

(b) whether the proposals have been approved;

(c) if so, the details of funds sanctioned and released, State-wise;

(d) if not, the details of proposals pending for approval alongwith the reasons for pendency, State-wise;and

(e) the action taken by the Government in this regard including the time by which all the pending proposals are likely to be cleared?

(a) & (b) The State-wise details of number of proposals received from various State Governments and approved under Central Road Fund (CRF) during each of the last three years and the current year are at Annexure-I.

(c) The details of accrual and release of funds from CRF during each of the last three years and current year are at Annexure-II.

(d) The proposals furnished by the respective State Governments under CRF up to the year 2009-10 have been approved subject to the sanction limit and no proposal is pending.

(e) Does not arise.
