(a) whether Government are aware that under the provision of fireproof workshed house to accommodate improved looms for better production during 1999-2000, Rs. 210 lakh has still not been released to the Orissa Government;
(b) whether the Government are aware that the Orissa Government has requested for special sanction of Rs.360 lakh keeping in view the damage to worksheds in the recent super-cyclone; and
(c) if so, the time by which the amount is likely to be released?

(a) There is no Scheme under the Ministry of Textiles to provide fireproof Workshed House to accommodate improved looms.
(b) & (c) During 1999-2000 Government of India has sanctioned Rs.360.00 lakh under the Workshed-cum-Housing Scheme for construction of 2000 Workshed-cum-Houses in the cyclone affected area and an advance of Rs.180.00 lakh has been released to the State Government of Orissa. On receipt of utilisation certificate and physical progress report the balance amount would be released.
