(a) whether the Union Government proposes to establish a textile park in Jalgaon keeping in view the record-breaking production of cotton in Khadesh especially in Jalgaon in Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which it is likely to be set-up?

(a) to (c): Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks is a demand driven scheme. Proposals received from Group of entrepreneurs/Industry associations are processed as per the guidelines of the scheme for sanction. The Government has not received any proposal for setting up of the textile park in Jalgaon under SITP.
