(a) Some portions/patches of roads in Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) estate have been encroached and few hutments/ encroachments are existing since decades.
(b) MbPT undertakes periodical programmes for removal of such encroachments. As a result of these initiatives, approximately 1,09,874 sq mtrs of MbPT land area have been made encroachment free.
