(a) the details of fake finance companies being run in the country, State-wise;
(b) the quantum of loss suffered by consumers thereon;
(c) whether any enquiry was conducted by the Government during the last three years in this regard; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): The two cases which have come to the notice are as under:

(c) & (d): 1. With regard to case at Sl. No. 1 above, the matter was referred to the then Department of Electronic and Information Technology (DEITY) for necessary action as the matter concerned them.
2. With regard to case at Sl. No. 2 above, the concerned Registrar of Companies has been directed to file an FIR.
