(a) whether ‘MEMU’ a daily local passenger train under Western
Railway starts from Ratlam to Vadodara has a stoppage at every
station and takes 5-6 hours to reach Vadodara;
(b) whether this train continues to stay at Ratlam and Vadodara
railway-stations and leaves for the respective stations the next
day;
(c) if so, the reasons for not starting this train on the return
journey after some time as there are a large number of passengers
on this route and they do not get seats in the compartments;
(d) whether no toilets have been provided in this train which ply
for 5-6 hours at a stretch;
(e) if so, the reasons therefore; and
(f) the concrete steps taken by the Government to provide toilet facilities in this train ?
