Question : FREE RAIL PASSES TO PATIENT`S ATTENDANT

(a) whether the Government provides free rail pass or rail travel concession to the attendant accompanying the epileptic patients in train journey;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) if not, the assistance provided by the railways to such patients in case of any difficulty faced by them?

(a) to (c): No, Sir. Concession is not granted to epileptic patients. However, Doctors are given 10% concession for attending to passengers in need of medical attention.
