(a) whether the Planning Commission proposes to route loans to the State Electricity
Boards (SEBs) through the respective State Governments;
(b) if so, the reasons for opting new system of funding the rural electrification
programme;
(c) whether this change would affect the on-going schemes; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the likely outcome in this regard?
