(a) & (b): There are no reports of the farmers being unable to sell pulses at
Minimum Support Prices (MSP).
(c) & (d): The MSP of Arhar (Tur) and the quantity procured by National
Agricultural Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED) and Central
Warehousing Corporation (CWC) during 2008-11 is given below:

The MSP of Arhar (Tur) for 2011-12 has been fixed at Rs.3200 per
quintal. An additional incentive at the rate of Rs.500 per quintal of tur sold to
procurement agencies is payable during the harvest/arrival period of two months
during 2010-11 and 2011-12.
