(c) & (d) Conservation of rivers & Lakes is an ongoing and collective effort of the Central and State Governments.Ministry of Environment & Forests is supplementing the efforts of the State Governments towards conservation of rivers and lakes under the centrally sponsored National River Conservation Plan (NRCP) & National Lake Conservation Plan (NLCP). In the State of Rajasthan, projects for pollution abatement amounting to Rs. 150.96 crore under NRCP and Rs. 222.30 crore under NLCP have been sanctioned so far.
