(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce quadri-cycle as a non-transport vehicle under the Motor Vehicle Act to improve last-mile connectivity and private use; and
(b) if so, the list of the manufacturers of quadri-cycles in the country along with the details of different models being manufactured in this sector?

(a) Ministry has notified S.O. 5800 (E) dated 20.11.2018 whereby the Quadricycle has been included under the category of Non-Transport Vehicles to improve last-mile connectivity and private use.
(b) No such information is available with the Ministry.
