Question : REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES

(a) whether the Union Government has received any request from the Uttar Pradesh regarding reimbursement of the expenditure incurred on salaries and allowances of the officers/staff posted in National Service Scheme Cell ; and

(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which the same is likely to be released to the State?

(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) The State Government of Uttar Pradesh sought reimbursement of the expenditure incurred on salaries and allowances of the Officers/Staff posted in NSS Cell, Uttar Pradesh.

An amount of Rs. 35,52,642/- has been sanctioned and released.
