(a) to (b) : Government of India had launched Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana – Saubhagya in October, 2017 for electrification of rural and urban poor households in the country to achieve universal household electrification of all households in the country including Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.
The State of Madhya Pradesh has reported 100% electrification of all the willing un-electrified households in the State, including Rajgarh district, as on 31.03.2019. Under Saubhagya scheme electricity connections to 62,478 households of the Rajgarh district were provided.
The State has also reported installation of 147.79 KM of 11 kV line and 298.34 KM of LT line and 219 Distribution Transformers covering 2,465 habitations of Rajgarh district.
(c) : Under Saubhagya Scheme, projects were sanctioned on the basis of un-electrified household data submitted by the States; and as such no district-wise sanction/release of funds was made by the Government of India.
An amount of Rs.872.65 Crore was sanctioned for the State of Madhya Pradesh including Rajgarh district for implementation of works under Saubhagya Scheme. Disbursement details during the years 2017-18 to 2021-22 (up to 30.06.2021) are as under:

The State Government has reported that 100% amount released has been utilized. Further, electrification works under Saubhagya scheme in Rajgarh district has been implemented by the Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPMKVCL) and an expenditure of Rs. 38.494 crore has been reported towards electrification of works in the District under the scheme.
(d) & (e) : Saubhagya Scheme got closed on 31.3.2019. The State of Madhya Pradesh reported 100% electrification of all the willing un-electrified households in the State including Rajgarh district, as on 31.03.2019.
