Question : Cloak Room facility at Monuments

(a) the measures taken by the Government to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards across monuments in Delhi;

(b) whether the Government has taken any measures to ensure proper cloak room facility at the monuments for visitors carrying valuable items; and

(c) if so, the details thereof along with the details of funds spent for the purpose in Delhi during the year 2017-18, monument-wise?

(a) Regular maintenance of the monument including hygiene and cleanliness is carried in the centrally protected monuments in Delhi.


(b)&(c) Cloak room facility is available at Red Fort and Qutab Minar. Cloak rooms are maintained under overall maintenance of respective monuments. The funds spent under Annual Repair Head for maintenance of said monuments during the year 2017-18 are as under:
Red Fort: Rs.100.99 lakhs
Qutab Minar: Rs. 42.28 lakhs
