(a) the details of snooping incident reported some time back which was purportedly made by American agencies;
(b) whether this issue was taken up during the recent visit by officials with US authorities;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the precautions taken by the Indian intelligence agencies to stop snooping by outside agencies?

(a) to (d): The Government has raised its concerns with the US side, including at senior levels, on the reported authorization given to entities of the US Government to communications emanating from India. The US has noted that it fully respects and understands the feeling expressed by India in this regard.
