(a) whether the matter pertaining to the increase in the pay scales of Assistant Director (Handicraft) and the Handicraft Promotion Officer is under consideration of the Government.
(b) if so, whether any anomaly committee has been constituted in this regard;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the time by which the said committee is likely to submit its report?

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. An anomaly Committee has been constituted in Ministry of Textiles to consider representations from officials in the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) in the matter of fixation of their scales of pay with reference to the recommendations of the Vth Central Pay Commission. The Committee held 2 meetings and constituted a Sub-Committee to study and to bring forth before the Anomaly Committee the issues involved for consideration. The Sub-Committee has completed the work and submitted its report.
(d) :The Committee has not been fixed a time within which its recommendations must be submitted.
