Question : PROGRESS OF I.T. COMPANIES

(a) Whether the IT Companies of the country are making more progress in comparison to the other IT Companies of the world; and

(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b): As per NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies), in 2006 worldwide technology and related services spending increased by 7.7 percent in comparison to 2005. On the other hand, in 2006-07 the revenue (including the domestic and exports segments) of the Indian IT-ITES sector increased by nearly 28 percent in comparison to 2005-06.
