(a) the details of the Pradhan Mantri-Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PM-FME) scheme;
(b) the details of the funding received by Andhra Pradesh during 2020-21 and 2021-22 ;

(c) the details of the targets achieved under the PM-FME scheme in Andhra Pradesh in 202021 and 2021-22;
(d) the efforts being made by the Government to bridge this gap and redress them
(e) whether the National Portal for this scheme is fully functional and running;
(f) if so, the details of the number of new registrants of the scheme from the National Portalfrom each district of Andhra Pradesh; and

(g) whether any new survey has been done on the number of unregistered food processing units since last one which was done in 2015-16 and if not, the reasons therefor?

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES

(a): As part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Initiative, Ministry of Food Processing Industries is implementing a Centrally Sponsored "PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme" for providing financial, technical and business support for upgradation of micro food processing enterprises in the country. Support to upgrade existing units or setting up of new micro units for individuals is provided through a credit linked grants-in-aid @35% up to a maximum grant of Rs. 10.00 lakh. The Scheme also provides support to food processing units of SHGs/ FPOs/ Cooperatives for credit linked grants-in-aid @35%, Seed Capital to SHGs, Incubation Centre, Common Infrastructure, Marketing & Branding and Capacity Building.



(b): The details of funds (Centre Share) provided to the State of Andhra Pradesh under PMFME Scheme are as under:

(c): The details of achievement under the scheme in Andhra Pradesh during 2020-21 and 2021-22, till date are as under:

(i). State Nodal Agencies (SNAs), State Level Approval Committees (SLACs) and District Level Committees (DLCs) have been constituted.

(ii). One District One Product (ODOP) for all the 13 Districts have been approved.

(iii). Seed Capital amounting to Rs.29.30 crore released for 7597 Self Help Group (SHG) Members.

(iv). One Incubation Center has been approved with an outlay of Rs.2.61 crore.

(v). For capacity building, one State Level Technical Institute (SLTI) has been nominated. 17 Master Trainers and 58 District Level Trainers have been trained. 27 District Resource Persons (DRPs) have been appointed to provide hand holding support to beneficiaries.

(vi). Loan sanctioned to 307 beneficiaries under the scheme.

(d): The following efforts have been made by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to bridge this gap and redress them:

i. Monthly review meetings with State Nodal Agencies (SNAs), State Level Banking Committee (SLBC), Banks, Department of Financial Services (DFS) and other Stakeholders
ii. Organizing Promotional activities such as Newspaper Advertisements, Hoardings, Banners, Radio Jingle, Workshops, Camps etc. for awareness of the potential beneficiaries.

(e): National Portal for the PMFME scheme is functional and running for submission of applications by the interested Individuals and Groups for seeking support under the scheme.

(f): The district-wise details of the number of new registrants for establishing individual micro food processing units registered under the scheme in the State of Andhra Pradesh are at Annexure.
(g): Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has started the Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises (ASUSE) in October, 2019 for non-agricultural establishments in manufacturing, trade and other services sector.
