(a) whether according to International Air Transport
Association (IATA), India`s aviation is in a multifaceted crisis;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(d) the corrective steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (b):- In a Session organized by the Confederation of
Indian Industry (CII) on 25th July, 2012, Director General &
CEO of International Air Transport Association (IATA) said
that India`s aviation sector is in a multi-faceted crisis.
(c):- No such representation from IATA has been received in the Ministry.
(d):- Does not arise in view of above (c).
