Question : Male-Female Child Ratio

(a) the male–female child ratio in the country as per 2011 census along with the details of the figures, State-wise; and

(b) the details of the list of such States where the number of girl child is more than boys?

(a) The Office of the Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner conducts the population Census in India. As per the Census 2011, the child sex ratio (0-6 years) at all India level is 918. The State/ Union Territory wise details are given at Annexure 1.

(b) As per Census 2011, no State/ Union Territory of India has more number of girl children than boys (0-6 years).
