Question : List of Empanelled Hospitals of ESI

(a)the details of list of hospitals empanelled under Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in the country, State/UT-wise;
(b)whether ESIC reimburses the expenditure incurred by the beneficiaries of ESIC for getting treatment in the ESIC empanelled hospitals and if so, the details thereof;
(c)whether a large number of medical reimbursement claims are pending for a long period with ESIC where expenditure has been borne by the beneficiaries;
(d)if so, the details of the pending cases during each of the last five years and the reasons for the same particularly of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Agra region in the Uttar Pradesh State;
(e)the time by which the pending medical reimbursement claims with ESIC are expected to be settled particularly in the above States; and
(f)the action taken/being taken by the Government against guilty officers?

(a): State/Union Territory wise detail of number of hospitals empanelled by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is Annexed.

(b): ESIC provides medical treatment to ESI beneficiaries from ESIC empaneled hospitals in a cashless manner. Beneficiaries are required to follow referral procedure for availing treatment from such hospitals. Treatment availed directly by ESI beneficiary in case of emergency is reimbursed as per Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) package rates or ESIC rates or State Government rates, as applicable.
(c) to (f): Information is being collected.
