Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes a special programme to prevent anaemia among children with the use of ayurveda and homoeopathy in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): There is no specific proposal at present with the Ministry of AYUSH for a special programme dedicated to prevention of anaemia among children with the use of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy. However, the Central Council of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), autonomous Research Councils under Ministry of AYUSH have undertaken various treatment studies on Iron deficiency anaemia as per details as annexed.
